I’ve realized for every time I had almost threw up my white flag to wave in defeat, I ended up on top with a break through or some great idea. I guess it’s times like those life is testing your strength or will to choose to struggle then take the easier way out. I mean sure “easier” is always.. “EASIER”  but so is attempting to rob a bank, POTENTIALLY become a millionaire  but end up in prison for 10 years versus staying in school another 8 years to earn a PH.D in health and science and creating the worlds first viral vaccine. I look back to all of the decisions i’ve made being so young and impulsive and I’ve realized that sure maybe some were not exactly “wise” but those are what make me wise, Ironic you could say but in all truth, I probably wouldn’t know the difference between a door knob to a hole in the wall if i hadn’t been drug through the dirt a few times.  Another thing i’ve realized is talking about “moving on” isn’t whats going to help you move on, letting go of the past is what gives you no choice but to excel forward, it’s like walking to the middle of a bridge and looking back but theres nothing left of the bridge behind you… you HAVE to walk forward or essentially there is nothing more you can do. Although I have a lot of struggle with this exercise I know it is truly beneficial to me and my loved ones. I guess being a human we all have those thoughts of “what if i hadn’t” or “If I did do this I would have” but sometimes we really should look at now  or tomorrow  because whats not done or known, thats what’s truly promising, a newer reality.
